Kili Conquerors for Parkinson's - Erica Curtis

Erica was originally from Montreal and graduated from the Royal Victoria Hospital and McGill University with an RN and Nursing Speciality in Psyhciatric Nursing. She married Jim Curtis in the late sixties moved to Barrie, Ontario where the couple raised their two children. Erica and Jim have done numerous hikes, canoe trips and sailed around Georgian Bay.

Erica says: "When I heard from Reta that she was planning this hike to raise funds for Parkinson Society, I knew I wanted to be apart of it - if possible - as I have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in the last two years although I have been aware of tell tale signs for four years. I will have some extra challenges to be successful, but I am thrilled to be able to join this wonderful effort to raise funds for the Parkinson Society and have the adventure of a lifetime as well."
